In light of the Covid-19 pandemic I have taken measures to ensure that your treatment and the environment in which your treatment is delivered are both COVID-19 safe and secure. I have completed an accredited health, safety & hygiene - returning to work COVID-19 course and have carried out a full risk- assessment.

Below are some of the most frequently asked questions about my COVID-19 measures and what you can expect when you come for a treatment.

Do I have to wear a face covering?

You are required to wear a face covering for your appointment. In line with government guidelines I wear a Type II surgical mask and visor during the entire length of your treatment.

Can I get a massage if I fall into the NHS high or medium risk groups?

I am currently unable to accept bookings from anyone who would be considered to be in the high risk group as defined by the NHS. This extends to those who may not fall into this category but have a member of their household who does. Those who fall into the medium risk category would need to seek consent from your medical practitioner prior to booking a treatment. For further information about at risk groups please visit the NHS website.

What hygiene precautions are you taking?

Extra time is allowed between clients to allow for cleaning. All surfaces clients come into contact with, including masse equipment are sanitised using antibacterial wipes. All linen is changed between every client and washed at 60 degrees before being tumble dried. Disposable hand towels are available in the bathroom, along with antibacterial soap and 70% alcohol hand gel. A sanitised box is available for each clients to store belongings in during their treatment.

I have symptoms, what should I do?

If you feel at all unwell, or have been in contact with someone displaying COVID-19 symptoms please refer to the

NHS guidelines. Please contact myself as soon as possible to cancel your appointment, the usual cancellation policy will be waived.

Do I have to fill out forms when I arrive?

All consultation information is provided online prior to your treatment. When you receive your booking confirmation there are links to a treatment form and a COVID-19 declaration which is to be completed within 24 hours of your appointment.

Do you have good ventilation?

A minimum of 30 minutes is allowed between clients when windows will be opened to ventilate the treatment space.

Do you accept cash?

Payment can be made by cash, card or bank transfer.

Have you completed a risk assessment?

Using government guidelines and advice from the Federation of Holistic Therapists a full risk assessment has been carried out. This document can be viewed here.
